International Programs

The School of Theatre and Dance has an exclusive collaboration with the legendary Moscow Art Theatre (MXAT) in Moscow, Russia. For all BFA in acting students, the fall semester of the junior year will be spent at MXAT in Moscow studying acting, movement, singing, dance, theatre history, script analysis and Mikhail Chekhov technique.

Students will be immersed in the history, literature and theatre of Russia. In addition to their classroom work at MXAT, they will tour museums and theatres, attend performances and meet with prominent Russian theatre artists in order to better understand the Russian theatre and its influence on contemporary acting and literature.

Internships can also be arranged through our international exchange programs with the Hatfield Theatre Festival in England, and the Gaiety Theatre in Ireland.
