Payment may be made by check, cash or credit (Visa and Mastercard) and must be made in advance to guarantee your seat. Individuals who pay upon boarding the bus should pay with cash in the exact amount due (we cannot provide change), or with a check made out to NIU. Important Things to Know When You Get On The Bus
Unless otherwise noted, participants are responsible for meal costs. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes, since long periods of walking and standing may be involved. University buses or vans leave from the parking lot on the south side of the NIU Art Building in DeKalb with a pickup option in the Fox Valley. Please arrive 15 minutes before departure so buses may leave when scheduled. Because of scheduled itineraries, buses aren't able to wait for late individuals. Depending upon the destination and travel time, bus rides are sometimes long, so please bring snacks, reading material, or music with headphones.
